Baromo

Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 November 2026

In short: Baromo is a kind game. Zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour: insults, harassment, hateful, sexual or violent content, impersonation, spam. Every report is reviewed within 24 hours, and an offending account can be renamed or banned without notice.

Who publishes Baromo

Baromo is published by BNK Studio, in France. Contact: bonjour@baromo.app.

Age

Baromo is intended for people aged 16 and over.

What players can share

Players who are not linked cannot send each other free messages: only a nickname, a short first name and a request to link up. Linked duos can use Chit-chat, whose messages are filtered automatically and erased 24 hours after being read; they also share duo games and the daily news picked in the app. Nicknames and first names are filtered automatically (profanity, links, phone numbers, email addresses). A request to link up must be accepted by the other player.

The rules

By using Baromo and choosing a nickname, you agree not to post or send any insulting, hateful, discriminatory, sexual, violent, illegal or misleading content, not to harass anyone, and not to impersonate someone else or the Baromo team.

Report and block

On every player, request or received news item, the “···” menu (and, on a Chit-chat message, a long press) lets you report (with a reason) or block. A blocked player can no longer find you or send you requests or content, and you are unlinked. Every report alerts the team, who handle it within 24 hours.

Sanctions

Depending on severity: a warning, a renamed and hidden nickname, or a ban. A banned player can no longer be found, or send requests, news or games.

Everything else

Baromo is a game, not a medical tool. If things are really not OK, talk to someone close or to a professional. Your journal and check-ins stay on your phone; what you share goes through our server: see the privacy policy. These terms supplement Apple’s standard licence agreement (EULA).
